CHALLENGE: Build a table that holds a heavy amount of weight out of newspaper and Duck Tape.
WHAT WORKED?
1. Folding the legs in half to make them strong. 2. Adding a square around the bottom of the base, to give it a better base. 3. Using more tape to make the legs stronger. 4. Having more legs to make a better base. |
WHAT DIDN'T WORK?
1. Having only one leg (in the middle) 2. Having supports going straight down. 3. Having borders around the table top. 4. Having less legs to hold the table up. |
WHAT DID WE LEARN?
We learned to consolidate our resources to make the structure stronger. We also learned how to make a light-weight table out of newspaper and ducktape
