What Did WE learn?
We learned that to to make a stable structure you have to have a supported base. A narrow base is crucial to making sure your structure is sound, and ready to hold your tennis ball. You should keep your structure low to the ground. Don't put too much duct tape (even if it looks cool) because it will cause the structure to tip. Also, many decorations like flags and embellishments on the tennis ball did not fare well in the end. We also learned to keep track of your time. One of the groups, lovingly know as 'Team Swaggy' wasted many minutes, ending in a slightly rushed and faulty mechanism, simply because they were dawdling and talking. In conclusion, learning to keep track of time and having a good, strong base is always the way to win this challenge!
